The Lopers Programming and Activities Council at the University of Nebraska at Kearney will host a Veterans Day Ceremony on Monday, Nov. 12.
The ceremony will take place beginning at 12:20 p.m. at the UNK Flag Poles, which are located just south of Cope Fountain.
UNK Student Body President Cameron Deter of Red Oak will welcome attendees, and the ROTC Color Guard will present a wreath in honor of Veterans Day.
Chelsea Svoboda, performing arts chair for LPAC, said, “LPAC plans student events on campus, and we all believe Veterans Day is very important. We wanted to honor those who have served our country.”
