The College of Education at University of Nebraska at Kearney will be hosting a reception for their distinguished alumni on Friday, Oct. 12 as part of the UNK homecoming festivities. The reception will be held at the Walker Art Gallery in the Fine Arts Building from 3-4 p.m. A short recognition program will begin at approximately 3:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by the Oswald Quartet.
“The purpose of this reception is to allow people to renew old acquaintances and friendships,” said UNK Education Professor Julie Agard.
The special guests for the event are graduates of UNK with teaching degrees and who have received significant recognition during the past school year. The guests include:
