The University of Nebraska at Kearney Students in Mass Media (SIMM) recently elected new officers for fall 2004.
SIMM is an honor society for collegiate journalists. According to Amber Booton, organization secretary, the club strives
to teach ethics and the techniques and mechanics of good communication. It also encourages student participation in local philanthropic endeavors.
Members of the society must have worked on a UNK student publication and have earned a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
