Sarah Anderson of Kearney will present her junior soprano vocal recital at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, in the University of Nebraska at Kearney Fine Arts Recital Hall.
Anderson, a junior music performance major and French minor, is the daughter of John and Jami Anderson of Kearney.
A student of Pina Mozzani, her recital will feature songs by Georges Bizet, six poems by Emily Dickinson, I’m expecting you! by John Duke, Batti Batti by W.A. Mozart and Hello! Oh Margaret It’s You! by G.C. Menotti.
Anderson is the recipient of the Wallace Memorial Scholarship and is the publicity director of Delta Omicron, the music honor society. She also placed third in the National Association of Teachers of Singers state competition.
The recital is free and open to the public.
