The annual Celebrating Excellence Retirement and Service Awards Luncheon and Recognition is set for Tuesday, April 19, on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus.
More than 20 retirees will be honored at the 12:30 p.m. luncheon. Luncheon tickets are $10.17 and are available at the Finance Office, located in Founders Hall. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Friday, April 15. The luncheon is open to the community as well as the campus.
Recognition ceremonies for retirees will begin at 1:15 p.m. At 2 p.m., the service awards segment of the program will begin. Those UNK faculty, staff and administrators who have been employed for 40, 35, 30, 25, 20, 15 and 10 years, as of this year, will receive special recognition during the event.
