As a part of the UNK Earth Day observance tomorrow (Thursday, April 22), the Recycled Cycles roll-out will take place at 12:30 p.m. just south of the Nebraskan Student Union on the campus. The roll-out is timed in conjunction with the UNK Green Fair’s live band performance.
The Recycled Cycles are to be distributed across campus. Students needing to get from one place to another across campus can do so quickly by hopping on one of the Recycled Cycles. The Recycled Cycles will be easily distinguished from other bikes, because they’re been painted UNK blue and gold. They will also be tagged.
The Recycled Cycles are bikes that have been abandoned on campus or were donated.
