About 425 elementary and middle school youths are participating in the Loper Launch Enrichment Camp this month.
The summer camp features hands-on, one-week classes in fine arts, science, the outdoors, cooking and many other areas. Students also are taking part in four-week academies, which include reading and theater, as well as a one-week speech academy.
This year’s camp is taking place at UNK and the newly renovated Museum of Nebraska Art.
