UNK closed Thursday, March 10, because of inclement weather

The University of Nebraska at Kearney will be closed on Thursday, March 10.

All on-site and remote classes are canceled. The Calvin T. Ryan Library, Plambeck Early Childhood Education Center and Antelope Bookstore will be closed. Any activity or event that is not specifically listed as being open should be considered closed, canceled or postponed.

As with all closing decisions, essential personnel should report to their supervisor. All other employees who have the capability to complete their work from home/an alternative worksite location as determined by their supervisor should work remotely.

Dining Services will be open as follows:

  • The Graze from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.
  • Louie’s Diner from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.
  • The Grid from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Students, faculty and staff are reminded to contact UNK Police at 308-865-8911 if they need on-campus roadside assistance or other support. In the event of on-campus emergencies, please call 308-627-4811 or 911.
