UNK’s Department of Art and Design is getting campus in the Halloween spirit with its 25th annual pumpkin carving contest and display. Dozens of art and design students, as well as faculty, staff and students from across UNK, were invited to create their best jack-o’-lantern for the event. From 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, the campus community can stop by the Fine Arts Building to check out the pumpkins and vote for the best, most creative and ugliest entries.
