The College of Business and Technology at UNK hosted a back-to-school party Tuesday to showcase its students, faculty, staff and programs, while also connecting with the greater Kearney community.
In its first year, the event occurred on the lawn outside West Center and included a picnic supported by First National Bank, DJ music, cornhole, Spikeball, washer toss and other yard games.
The event was spearheaded by new Dean Tim Jares as a way for the College of Business and Technology to network with other colleges on campus.
During Tuesday’s event, students learned about various academic programs and career options by visiting tables representing different student organizations within the college
