Activist, slam poet Wilson to deliver Wednesday presentation about Martin Luther King Jr.

January 16, 2019 7:00 PM - 09:00 PM NSU, Ponderosa Room E The Office of Multicultural Affairs and UNK Residence Life in cooperation with the Black Student Association welcome Activist and Slam Poet Theo Wilson to the UNK campus. The pendulum of bigotry seems to be swinging back to where it was before the Civil Rights struggle. What does this mean in the context of Dr. Martin Luther King's legacy, 50 years after his assassination? Wilson draws upon his experiences to give perspective to this new era of racial tension and explores solutions to these pressing social matters.
