Title of Palmer’s talk is “Leadership vs Management: What’s the Difference.”
KEARNEY – The keynote speaker for the upcoming Business Leaders Breakfast Series is Noel Palmer, professor at University of Nebraska at Kearney and lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves.
The breakfast is at 8 a.m. Feb. 17 at Coppermill Steakhouse, 421 Talmadge St. in Kearney.
Palmer is a graduate of West Point and served deployments to Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Afghanistan. His deployment and leadership experiences in the military fostered his interest and research in leadership.
The title of Palmer’s talk is “Leadership vs Management: What’s the Difference.”
During his presentation, he will discuss the relevance of leadership and management, sharing why each is important and challenging people to consider how each may be relevant for their business.
