Eleven recognized for high marks on Major Field Test

Eleven students from the College of Business and Technology at the University of Nebraska at Kearney performed above the 90th percentile on the spring 2016 Major Field Test.

The Major Field Test is a comprehensive undergraduate and graduate assessment that measures critical knowledge and understanding obtained by students in a major field of study.

Educational Testing Service develops, administers and scores millions of tests annually. UNK students were tested in the field of business.

The Major Field Test does more than measure students’ factual knowledge. The test also helps faculty evaluate students’ ability to analyze and solve problems, understand relationships and interpret material from their field of study.
