Glass artist Eoin Breadon gives demonstration at UNK March 14

Breadon Image 1KEARNEY – Eoin Breadon, a glass artist whose work is influenced by Irish folklore and craftsmanship, will give a demonstration at the University of Nebraska at Kearney in March.

Breadon’s demo is from 4:30-7:20 p.m. March 14 in the glass lab at UNK, which is in room 137 of the Otto Olsen building. The event is free and open to the public.

Breadon received his Master of Fine Arts in glass from Tyler School of Art at Temple University. From 2004-09 he was a member of the sculpture and glass faculty at Cleveland Institute of Art. He currently is assistant professor of art, head of glass/sculpture at University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

Breadon has trained in glass studios in Ireland, Australia and United States. His appearance is sponsored and paid for in full by UNK’s Glass and Sculpture Club.
