KEARNEY – Fifty-year reunion activities for members of the Kearney State College graduating class of 1965 will be hosted Oct. 16-17 at the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus.
The weekend kicks off Friday (Oct. 16) with breakfast at 9 a.m., followed by the opportunity for class members to sit in on an academic class of their choice, lunch and a campus tour. The evening includes a dinner and dance at 6 p.m. at the Kearney Holiday Inn.
A 10 a.m. brunch and presentation Saturday (Oct. 17) back on campus wraps festivities.
Members of the graduating classes of 1964 and 1966 are also invited to join the class of 1965 in the activities. A full schedule of events is available at www.unkalumni.org/golden.
“This reunion weekend is a great way for members of the 50-year class to not only reconnect with friends, but to visit the campus and see all that UNK has to offer,” said Lucas Dart, vice president of alumni relations and development.
The reunion event is $35 per person and individuals can register at www.unkalumni.org/golden by Oct. 12. Those needing ADA accommodations or other on-campus assistance should call the UNK Alumni Association at 308-698-5271.
