NebraskaLand National Bank employees donated $3,543.29 to UNK Campus Kitchen on Wednesday. The check was distributed through the My Fair Share program, which lets bank employees donate to a nominated nonprofit organization.
A group of students at Campus Kitchen prepare and deliver meals to between 80 and 110 families in need each week, including a Thanksgiving meal during its TurkeyPalooza event. In Kearney, Campus Kitchen’s clients range from families with young children to homebound seniors.
