KEARNEY – Eight University of Nebraska at Kearney band students have been selected to perform with the 2015 Nebraska Intercollegiate Band in Lincoln.
The UNK students will perform with other students from colleges and universities in Nebraska in concert at 8 p.m. March 6 in Kimball Hall at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. That concert is free and open to the public.
The performances are part of the March 5-6 state convention of the Nebraska State Bandmasters Association.
UNK students performing, listed by hometown, are:
Ayr – Tyler Hinrichs, bass clarinet
Gering – Jeremy Eskam, tuba
Grand Island – Aaron Borer, clarinet; Toni Birch, euphonium
Kearney – Aaron Woolley, horn
Lexington – Morgan Sentelle, trumpet
Madrid – Bert Ogg, contrabass clarinet
El Paso, Texas – Joel Montes, percussion
