Concerts-On-The-Platte Series to Feature Alto-Saxophonist David Nabb

The University of Nebraska at Kearney Concerts-on-the-Platte series will feature UNK alto-saxophonist Dr. David Nabb on Monday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m.

Dr. Nabb, a UNK professor of music and performing arts, will be accompanied by Dr. Ting Lan Chen on violin and Dr. Nathan Buckner on piano. The concert is free and open to the public.

Dr. Nabb will be performing three pieces, including “Sonata for Alto Saxophone and Piano” by Jindrich Feld, “Sicilienne” by Pierre Lantier, and “Trio After Brahms in G Minor for Alto Saxophone, Violin and Piano” by David DeBoor Canfield.

Originally from Iowa, Dr. Nabb has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
