The New Student Enrollment (NSE) team leaders and NSE program dates at the University of Nebraska at Kearney have been announced this week.
“The student team leaders were selected through competitive interviewing and an application process,” said Alisha Hanshaw, senior assistant director for Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions. “They will be serving as leaders not only at New Student Enrollment, but also at Fall Orientation.”
New Student Enrollment (NSE) is a chance for incoming freshman to register for fall classes, and meet faculty, staff and current students. Students who have been admitted to UNK will receive a postcard explaining the process for signing up for NSE. The NSE dates for freshman are as follows: May 14-16, May 21-24, May 30-31, June 4-6, June 11-13, June 18-21 and June 25-27. The NSE dates for new transfer students are April 19, May 17, June 14 and July 19.
“New students must be admitted to UNK to attend an NSE date,” said Dusty Newton, director for Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions. “They can sign up at www.unk.edu/nse.”
