The Annual Juried Student Art show award winners have been announced at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
The show, which is sponsored by Kappa Pi Art Society, was juried by UNK graduate Daniel Dunbar of Wahoo and Sean Larson, a studio art graduate student at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
“Daniel is a UNK graduate who has a keen eye for graphic arts and illustration,” said Liz Hudec, president of UNK Kappa Pi Art Society. “He was a collaborative top choice between many members of the UNK Art Society when I asked for suggestions on who would jury the art exhibition this year.
“We trust his opinion, and we knew that he would choose a good variety of artwork to showcase the talent here at UNK,” Hudec said.
The artwork is on display in the UNK Walker Art Gallery now through Friday, March 16, after which pieces may be on display throughout campus by request of the staff.
