Kent Skaggs, of Rowe Sanctuary & the Iain Nicolson Audubon Center, will be presenting:

“The Joy of Bird Watching”

Bird Watching is one of the fastest growing outdoor recreational activities in the US.  It is a fascinating,
ever-changing activity that increases our awareness and appreciation of nature.

Come learn about the birds of south-central Nebraska and where you can go to see them!!

 

Kent Skaggs is the Office Manager for Audubon’s Rowe Sanctuary, which is known for the thousands of sandhill cranes it hosts each March during the spring migration.  Kent has worked at Rowe Sanctuary for 14 years; and in addition to his office duties, serves as a guide to Rowe’s crane viewing blinds along the Platte and leads birding trips for Audubon in south-central Nebraska.
