Vocal Collegium to Perform Christmas Concert at Mona on Friday, Dec. 3.

UNK– Christmas music will fill the granite halls of the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA) as the University of Nebraska at Kearney Vocal Collegium performs on Friday, Dec. 3.

The UNK Vocal Collegium concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in MONA, which is located on the corner of Central Avenue and 24th Street.

Under the direction of Dr. David Bauer, UNK professor of music, Vocal Collegium will perform several songs including– “Christmas Day,” “How Still He Rests,” “Lullaby for Christmas,” “The Virgin Mary had a Baby Boy” and “Winter Morning.”

UNK Vocal Collegium, which specializes in choral chamber repertoire of all eras, is described as “an elite group of students who are chosen from among the UNK Choraleers.” Students must audition to be a member of the Vocal Collegium.
