UNK – University of Nebraska at Kearney Locke & Key Society members, faculty and others from the Kearney community will follow the election results as they are reported on area television stations from 7-10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2.

“Locke & Key will have election news and results from several different T.V. stations up and running, so that students, faculty and members of the Kearney community can watch as the outcomes of the elections unfold,” said Jordan Heiliger, a UNK student from Lincoln.

The event is being held in Room 101 of the Communications Center, located on the UNK West Campus at 1910 University Drive, and is free and open to the public. According to Heiliger, pizza will be provided at no charge, but donations will be accepted.

The event was organized by Locke & Key members Heiliger, Lisa Kent of Kearney and Jared Krejci of St. Paul.  Dr. John Anderson, UNK political science professor, is adviser for the organization. Locke & Key Society is a nonpartisan organization for students interested in politics.
