If you are a student, a member of the faculty or staff, an alumnus young or old, a sports fan, a music lover, a star watcher….or just like to have a good time and see old friends, plan to attend one, several or ALL of the activities planned during Homecoming Week!
A wide range of student activities will fill the campus beginning on Monday, September 27th and will continue through the parade on Saturday, October 1st. A complete schedule of student-related events can be found at www.unk.edu/unkhomecoming.
A few featured events during the week….
September 30th
Lip Sync Competition & Royalty Crowning, 7:00 p.m. in the Health & Sports Center
Traditionally one of the larger gatherings of our campus community, with many laughs, some interesting dancing and the much anticipated announcement of 2010 UNK Royalty!
October 1st
Alumni Awards Social & Banquet, 6:00 p.m. in the Nebraskan Student Union

Following the banquet, attend the LOPER PEP RALLY on campus and get fired up for Saturday’s football game!
October 2nd
Homecoming Parade, 10:00 a.m. – Downtown Kearney
Enjoy the tradition of the annual parade, featuring student floats and outstanding bands!
Loper Luncheon – Beer & Brats at the Alumni House ($5 for food), 11:00 a.m. to the start of the football game
A great lead into the football game, and always a hit…bring your friends for some pre-game fun! Bring the family!
