EIGHT UNK STUDENTS TO PERFORM FLUTE STUDIO RECITAL IN UNK PLANETARIUM SATURDAY, APRIL 17.

UNK– Eight University of Nebraska at Kearney students will perform a flute studio recital under the stars at the UNK planetarium on Saturday, April 17.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 10 a.m. The recital will include flute solos, ensemble pieces and duets with piano accompaniment.

“This is the very first recital given at this planetarium,” said Franziska Nabb, music and performing arts lecturer. “A few selections that will be played under the stars include works by Bach, Telemann, Bozza, Dahl, Mozart, Ravel, Bartok, Schocker and Ibert.”
