Soprano Donna Pucket of North Platte will perform a vocal recital on Saturday, Dec. 5, at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
The recital, which begins at 7:30 p.m. in the UNK Fine Arts Recital Hall, and is free and open to the public. Pucket studies voice with Dr. Anne Foradori, music and performing arts professor. Pucket is a music major with a minor in women’s studies.
Among the selections on the program are “V’adoro pupille,” “Affani del pensier” and “Qual Farfallette” by Handelarias, “Lachen and Weinen” by Schubert, “Chanson d’ Amour” by Faures, “One More Kiss” by Sondheim, “Romany Life” by Herbert, “Here Alone” by Howland and “Lo, Here the Gentle Lark” by Sir Henry Bishop.
Accompanists will include Linda Wiles of North Platte on piano, and Dr. Allison Fletcher of Shelton on flute.
