Robbie Heinzen Junior Recital Set for Sunday Nov. 22, at UNK

Robbie Heinzen of North Platte, tenor, will perform a junior recital on Sunday, Nov. 22, in the University of Nebraska at Kearney Fine Arts Recital Hall.

The recital will begin at 3 p.m., and is free and open to the public. Heinzen studies voice with Dr. Andrew White, UNK assistant professor of music and performing arts.

Heinzen will sing “Gia il Sole dal Gange” and “Se Florinda e Fedele” by Alessandro Scarlatti, “Che fiero costume” by Giovanni Legrenzi, “Amarilli, mia bella” by Guillio Caccini, “An Silvia” by Franz Schubert, “Morgen” by Richard Strauss, “Love Has Eyes” by Sir Henry Bishop, “The Trumpeter” by J. Airlie Dix, “Mama Says,” from the movie “Footloose” by Tom Snow, and “Dancing Through Life” from the musical “Wicked” by Stephen Schwartz.

Heinzen, son of Sarah Heinzen of North Platte, is a K-12 music education major with a vocal emphasis.
