UNK Women’s Studies Program Presents ‘Vagina Monologues’ Sunday And Monday, Feb. 17-18, In The Nebraskan Stud

The University of Nebraska at Kearney will present the fourth-annual production of “The Vagina Monologues” Sunday and Monday, Feb. 17-18, at 7:30 p.m. in the Nebraskan Student Union Ponderosa Room.
            The performances are sponsored jointly by the UNK Women’s Studies Program, Residential and Greek Life, and the Women’s Center. The event is a part of V-Day, a global college campaign to end violence against women. UNK has raised almost $3,000 from each year’s performances.
            Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for the general public. Ninety-percent of the ticket proceeds will go to the Kearney SAFE Center, and 10 percent will go to the V-Day Spotlight Campaign that focuses this year on helping Hurricane Katrina survivors.
