Katherine Sizer, a senior at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, will perform a flute recital at the G.W. Frank House on Sunday,  Nov. 18.

“It’s good preparation for my senior flute recital, and it exposes the audience to music they don’t always get to hear,” Sizer said.

Sizer will be performing classical pieces including Bach’s Sonata in A Minor for flute alone and Mozart’s Adagio Religioso.

The Frank House recital will begin at 1:30 p.m. on the UNK West Campus, with house tours available and light refreshments served. Sizer’s senior recital will be held in the Fine Arts Recital Hall on the campus Friday, Dec. 14, at 7:30 p.m.

“Katherine will be student teaching next semester, so it may be the last time anyone gets to hear her at the Frank House,” said KrisAnn Sullivan, Frank House director. “I heard her at her last performance, and it was absolutely delightful. I wouldn’t miss it.”
