FIVE TO RECEIVE STUDENT ALUMNI FOUNDATION OUTSTANDING SENIOR AWARDS SUNDAY, APRIL 1, AT UNK

Five University of Nebraska at Kearney students will be presented the Student Alumni Foundation Outstanding Senior Awards at the annual Mortar Board Honors Convocation Sunday, April 1, according to Jim Rundstrom, executive director of the UNK Alumni Association.

Award recipients include: Jael Johnson, an organizational communications major from Brady; T.J. Rump, biology and chemistry major from Fremont; Scott Vincent, a chemistry major from York; Kevin Wait, an exercise science major from Ogallala; and Drew Youngs, a journalism advertising major from Ogallala.

The Outstanding Senior Award recognizes seniors for excellence in scholarship and leadership, as well as involvement in, and dedication to, UNK and the Kearney community.

The awards have been presented each spring by the Student Alumni Foundation since the group was founded in 1981.
