Dr. Yozan Mosig, professor of psychology at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, has been selected as a consulting editor for the International Journal of the Humanities.

As consulting editor, Dr. Mosig is responsible for reviewing paper submissions for the journal. He then provides his assessment, comments and guidance to the authors of the submitted papers. The journal recognizes the work of editors such as Dr. Mosig by listing them as associate editors in the journal volumes.

Further, Dr. Mosig, whose research interests are centered on the Punic Wars and the life and personality of Hannibal Barca, has had his own work reviewed and accepted for publication in the journal. The work, titled “Revision and Reconstruction in the Punic Wars,” was peer reviewed. The article was co-authored by Imene Belhassen, a Fulbright Scholar from Tunisia and UNK graduate assistant.

Dr. Mosig has published numerous articles in psychological and literature journals, as well as a book on H.P. Lovecraft. His research has earned him the Robert Bloch Award from the New England Lovecraft Society and the UNK Pratt-Heins Award for Scholarship.

The International Journal of the Humanities  was created in 2003. The journal, which is published 12 times a year by Common Ground, is available online at www.humanities-journal.com.
