NEW STUDENT BODY PRESIDENT/VICE PRESIDENT AND STUDENT SENATORS ELECTED AT UNK

Michael Eiberger of St. Paul and Kevin Wait of Ogallala  have been elected student body president and vice president at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.          
       
As student body president, Eiberger will also serve on the University of Nebraska Board of Regents. Both Eiberger and Wait have served as Student Court Justices and as Chancellor’s Ambassadors, and both are majoring in health fields. Eiberger is majoring in pre-pharmacy and industrial distribution, while Wait is majoring in exercise science and plans to go on to physical therapy school.  
       
New to this Student Government term is a transitional period, where Eiberger and Wait will learn how to execute the duties of their respective offices from current Student Body President Brad Bohn and Vice President Scott Vincent.  
       
Elections were also held for Student Senate positions. Student senators are elected to represent their respective colleges. Those elected to Student Senate, are listed below by college. An asterisk after a student’s name indicates that the student is an incumbent:
