High school seniors wanting to attend a Loper Preview Day at the University of Nebraska at Kearney will have one last chance to do so on Saturday, Feb. 10, according to LeeAnn Amm, UNK campus visit coordinator.

Loper Preview Days were created specifically with high school seniors in mind to give prospective students a comprehensive overview of the opportunities UNK has to offer, Amm said.

Students who attend a Loper Preview Day are guided through the Admissions, Financial Aid and scholarship process for UNK, given a walking tour of the campus and provided lunch at the university’s cafeteria. Further, a panel of current UNK students give high school seniors a first-hand description of student life at UNK and answer any questions.

According to Amm, the final Loper Preview Day of this academic year takes place Feb. 10. High school seniors can register for the event. Students can register online by accessing www.unk.edu and clicking on the Prospective Students link on the right side of the home page and then clicking the Admission Events link on the right side of the subsequent web page.

Students wishing to register by phone can call 1-800-KEARNEY. Registration is free but limited to 100 students.
