PI KAPPA ALPHA FRATERNITY AT UNK WINS CHAPTER EXCELLENCE AWARD

Pi Kappa Alpha, social fraternity at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, has received a Chapter Excellence Award.

The award was presented at the Pi Kappa Alpha International Convention held recently in St. Louis.

“Receiving a Chapter Excellence Award this year is quite an accomplishment for Pi Kappa Alpha,” said Jeffrey Ensz of Wayne.  “We are proud of our accomplishments over the past year that have allowed our chapter to be
recognized as one of the elite chapters of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.”

Pi Kappa Alpha is an international college social fraternity with 205 chapters across the United States and Canada.

Nearly 220,000 men have been initiated as members. The current UNK Pi Kappa Alpha executive officers include:
Kearney- Brad Palu, internal vice president, and Kelly O’Conner, recruitment director.
McCook- Rocky Etaraich, treasurer
Omaha- Brian McIntyre, sergeant-at-arms, and Mark McLaughlin, pledge educator.
Palisade- Brian Britten, external vice president
Paxton- Travis Theiler, recording secretary
Wayne- Jeffrey Ensz, president
Wilber- Cody Sasek, corresponding secretary
