An informational meeting is set for 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, in the UNK Nebraskan Student Union Cedar Room for those interested in the Master’s of Social Work being offered in the spring at UNK. The Masters of Social Work will be designed and delivered by the University of Nebraska-Omaha School of Social Work.
Twenty-five candidates will be selected through a competitive application process from among candidates who already hold the Bachelor’s of Social Work from an accredited program. This advanced standing MSW program will offer 39 credit hours on a part-time basis. Classes will be taught on weekends (Friday evening and Saturday) to allow candidates to continue their regular employment. The degree would be completed in three-and-a-half years.
