The Kearney area Kiwanis will be reading to the children at the University of Nebraska at Kearney Child Development Center at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5.
“The Kiwanis would like to promote early reading skills in children,” said JoAnna Cordova, Childcare Director at the Child Development Center. “About five members of Kiwanis will read to the children and each child will be able to choose a book to take home.”
