The University of Nebraska at Kearney is holding the Fifth Annual Student Research Day on Monday, April 28 in the Nebraskan Student Union. About 235 students will be participating in the day which is sponsored by the Office of Graduate Studies & Research, Research Services Council and Undergraduate Research Council. The day includes a Poster Session, Student Conference on Language and Literature sponsored by the Department of English, and an exhibition of the art student award recipients.

“The purpose of Student Research Day is to highlight and celebrate student research and give recognition to the faculty who provide the opportunity for this research,” said Dr. Ken Nikels, Dean of Graduate Studies & Research. “Also, the secondary purpose is to encourage other students and make them aware of the opportunities to pursue this type of research.”
