UNK Theatre Presents ‘The Imaginary Invalid’

The University of Nebraska at Kearney Theatre Department will perform ‘The Imaginary Invalid’ on April 17-19 and 24-26 at 7:30 p.m. and April 27 at 2 p.m. in the Fine Arts Miriam Drake Theatre.

The production is a satirical look at the medical profession of 1673. It is the story of a man who concocts a plan to marry the daughter of one of his doctors in order to ensure himself a lifetime of free medical treatment. High comedy and chaos ensue as the plot unfolds.

Tickets for the performance are $7 for adults and $5 for UNK faculty and staff, students and seniors. Office hours are Monday and Wednesday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and one hour prior to each performance.
