Nominations for the Faculty Research Mentor Awards are due to the respective College or Graduate Dean’s office by Monday, March 17. Nominations may be made by faculty, staff, or students.

Upon receipt of a nomination, the dean’s office will forward an application to the nominated faculty member. The deadline for the applications is Friday, April 11.
Awards will be presented at the annual Student Research Day Reception on April 28. In addition to providing recognization to the faculty member for his or her accomplishments as a mentor of student research and creative activity, the deans office also provides a professional development award to be used by the faculty member. The faculty member selected as the outstanding UNK mentor receives $500 to be used toward research or creative activities.
