Driver education courses will be offered by the Nebraska Safety Center at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, on February 24, 26, March 3,5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26, 31, April 2, 7, 9, 14 and 16, at the Defensive Driving Ranges on West Railroad Street.
The class, will meet from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Monday and Wednesdays, with on-street driving to be scheduled at an arranged time between the students and instructors. Students are provided up to three hours of on-street driving time. Students requiring more than three hours of driving will be charged $40.00 per hour. Each student must have a school permit, learner’s permit for a school permit, learner’s permit of driver’s license.
Cost of the course is $225.00, with a non-refundable $100.00 deposit to be received by February 14, 2003, to ensure enrollment.
