The annual Victorian Christmas walk at the University of Nebraska at Kearney’s G.W. Frank House will be held December 4 through the 9 and 11 through the 18.
The house will be open Monday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. This year, The G.W. Frank House, which is located on UNK’s West Campus, will feature new rugs from Beverly Wolf on the Drawing Room, and from friends of the Frank House on the Grand Hall. In addition, visitors will view a two tier chandelier above the second landing which was a memorial gift by Virgy Lund, in memory of her husband Dennis W. Lund, UNK Criminal Justice professor, 1988-2000. Christmas decorations at the house are an annual gift from Todd and Lois Thalken of Kearney Floral, Inc. Admission is $3.00 for adults, students above fifth grade are $2, and grades kindergarten through fourth are $1.
