The MONA guild and the friends of the Frank House will host the “Bridal ‘Tea for Two’ Landmarks” fundraiser on Sunday, June 9 from 2- 4 p.m. at the Museum of Nebraska of Art.
“The bridal theme comes from the famous painting, Portrait of Miss Eulabee Dix by Robert Henri, which will be on exhibit the day of the tea,” said Virgy Lund, Frank House curator. “Entertainment will be a style show of vintage wedding gowns and Sue McLain of York will present a program called “Yesterday’s Brides.”
Tickets go on sale May 1 for the benefit. Tickets for adults are $20 and children 12 and under are $10, available from members of the sponsoring organizations and from the MONA gift shop. Proceeds will benefit the restoration and ongoing projects of the two landmarks.
