The student Geography Club at the University of Nebraska at Kearney will sponsor Earth Daze April 22-24. Earth Daze is designed to inform the student body about various environmental issues affecting Nebraska and the United States. “By beginning Earth Daze with information about Nebraska, we hope that people will understand the serious environmental issues are closer than we might realize,” said Jennifer Berthiaume, treasurer of the Geography Club. “We hope that we will expand students’ ideas about the rest of the world by challenging them to map trivia questions, as well as to show them how so many different cultures work together on Earth Day.”
