The University of Nebraska at Kearney/Central Community College transfer day has been scheduled for April 25 at the Grand Island campus. The event will be held from 3 – 7 p.m. at Central Community College-Grand Island Campus in the Main Building, Rm. 252, Business Computer Lab.
A day designed specifically for students who plan to transfer to the Kearney campus, UNK faculty advisors and admissions counselors will join CCC advisors to aid students in the transferring and registering process. Transferring students have the unique opportunity to be admitted, advised and to register for classes all on this day.
“Not only are CCC graduating students invited to attend, but all students currently enrolled are urged to meet with a UNK advisor to make sure they are on the right track if they plan to eventually transfer,” said Dusty Newton, UNK Assistant Director of Admissions. In addition, anyone who would like more information about UNK is invited to visit the advisors and counselors at the event.
UNK representatives from programs including business, construction management, telecommunications, education, fine arts and humanities, natural and social sciences, nursing, pre-professional programs, Family Studies & Interior Design and more will be on hand to provide information and answer any questions the attendees may have.
