TERRORISM PANEL DISCUSSION VIA SATELLITE AT UNK

The University of Nebraska at Kearney will host a live satellite viewing of “Terrorism: Where Do We Go From Here?” on Friday, Nov. 2. The viewing will be held in Room 101 of the Communications Center on UNKÕs West Campus from 2-4 p.m.

The terrorism panel discussion is part of the E.N. Thompson Forum on World Issues sponsored by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It will feature U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel, Thomas E. Gouttierre, dean of International Studies and Programs, University of Nebraska at Omaha; Dr. Steven M. Hinrichs, associate professor, University of Nebraska Medical Center and director of the Nebraska Public Health Laboratory; Dr. Patrice McMahon, assistant professor of political science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; and Peter Tomsen, past Special Envoy on Afghanistan with the rank of Ambassador from 1989-1992 for President George H.W. Bush. The discussion will be moderated by UNL Chancellor Harvey Perlman.
