The University of Nebraska at Kearney will be hosting a joint show choir concert on Friday, November 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.
Featured show choirs will be the UNK Nebraskats, the University of Nebraska at Lincoln’s Scarlet and Cream Singers and The University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Showcase UNO. Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $5 for students. They can be purchased by calling the Music and Performing Arts Department Office or e-mailing Jane Jameson at JamesonJ@unk.edu.
The UNK Nebraskats’ performance will consist of a Broadway selection, a Beach Boy’s medley, a 1920’s medley, and a patriotic section including “God Bless America.” The UNK Nebraskats will be directed by Dr. Annabell Zikmund, Showcase UNO by Pat Ribar and Tomas Miller, and UNL’s Scarlet and Cream Singers under the direction of Mathew Hull. The first joint show choir was hosted by UNK two years ago.
