FIFTEEN UNK CHORALEERS WILL TRAVEL TO BRAZIL

Fifteen members of the University of Nebraska at Kearney Choraleers will travel to UNK’s sister university, as well as Kearney’s sister city, in Terisina, Piaui, Brazil on May 10. The Federal University of Piaui choir will host the Choraleers during their tour.

The students will have the opportunity to witness and study first-hand the culture, the arts, and historic sites of Brazil.

The students/singers are: Joshua Bauer of Kearney, Jerilyn Billings of Kearney, Julie Brown of Beaver City, Julie Dunn of Bellevue, Sydney Fisher of Littleton, Colorado, Matthew Fowler of Scottsbluff, Derek Gangwish of Ayr, Heidi Garrelts of Kearney, Ryan Hatt of Hastings, Aaron Jameson of Kearney, Jack Kreman of Kearney, Michael McNeil of Almena, Kansas, Curtis Nicholson of North Platte, Eric VanZee of Prairie City, Iowa, and Susan D. Walston of Wichita, Kansas.
