UNK- Junior Heidi Lammers of Paxton was elected student body vice president by the students at the University of Nebraska at Kearney recently. Ryan Samuelson, last year’s student body President/Student Regent, and Lammers defeated senior Dominic Yeager and his running-mate, sophomore, Anna Wiley by a margin of 273 votes.
Lammers is majoring in Political Science and Criminal Justice and is a member of the Honors Program at UNK.
