UNK-UNK Advising Day is set for Thursday, Dec. 7, at Central Community College’s Platte Campus in Columbus.
Representatives from the University of Nebraska at Kearney Division of Continuing Education will be on hand to advise those who are interested in exploring their education opportunities with UNK, as well as those who are continuing a UNK program of study.
Advising will be from 3-6 p.m. in the Pod Conference Room. To schedule an appointment, individuals may call (402) 562-1420. Classes will begin the week of Jan. 8.
“For those who work during the day, have family commitments or lack the time to travel to Kearney for classes, UNK classes offered in North Platte may be the answer,” Vavricka said.
Upper division courses, such as business and education, are offered through UNK in North Platte this spring. Lower division courses are available through Central Community College, Vavricka added.
