UNK-UNK Advising Day is set for Thursday, Nov. 30, at Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte.
Representatives from the University of Nebraska at Kearney Division of Continuing Education will be on hand to advise those who are interested in exploring their education opportunities with UNK, as well as those who are continuing a UNK program of study.
Advising will be from 3-6 p.m. in the McDonald-Belton Building. To schedule an appointment, individuals may call Dalene at (308) 532-3611 extension 167. For information on UNK offerings or a complete schedule, individuals may contact Gloria Vavricka, director of Academic Programs for the UNK Division of Continuing Education, 1-800-865-6388 or (308) 865-8390. Classes will begin the week of Jan. 8.
“For those who work during the day, have family commitments or lack the time to travel to Kearney for classes, UNK classes offered in North Platte may be the answer,” Vavricka said.
Upper division courses, such as business and education, are offered through UNK in North Platte this spring. Lower division courses are available through Central Community College, Vavricka added.
